There’s a new counter in the fragrance section at Fortnum & Mason, London W1, where the scent of oud and grapefruit mingle with rose, linden blossom and blood orange. The launch of Prosody London, Britain’s first luxury organic fragrance brand, features 12 evocative scents created using completely natural ingredients, essential oils and time-honoured perfumery and chandlery traditions, The inaugural collection, available exclusively at Fortnum’s boasts six eau de parfums (50ml from £135, 10ml from £36) and six scented candles (£75).
